Will my pantech pursuit tell me when it is fully charged?

i just got my pantech pursuit 3 days ago well i put it on the charger and its been on it for 3 days now and it still says its charging so i was wondering if maybe this phone just didn't say when it was fully charged or if it just took a really long time to charge.
